Enfield, CT – October 2024 — Harvey & Lewis Opticians is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Susan Devine, OD, to our Enfield practice. A board-certified, advanced practice optometrist with 25 years of experience, Dr. Devine joins our team with a robust background in treating and managing dry eye and glaucoma. She brings to the Enfield community both her expertise and her commitment to patient-centered eye care. 

Dr. Devine holds a BA from Smith College and a Doctorate of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry in Boston. She has practiced in both Connecticut and Massachusetts, where her focus on personalized treatment and cutting-edge eye health management has earned her a respected reputation in the field. With her deep expertise in glaucoma and dry eye treatment, Dr. Devine plans to enhance Harvey & Lewis Opticians’ dedication to comprehensive eye care services for our patients.

Enfield holds a special significance for Dr. Devine. Born and raised in the community, she attended Enfield schools and graduated as Valedictorian of Enfield High School. She met her husband of 30 year, in Latin class, and together they share a son currently in college. Dr. Devine is thrilled to be returning to her roots in Enfield to support her local community’s eye care needs.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Devine is passionate about spending quality time with her family, particularly along the scenic Connecticut shoreline. She also enjoys cooking, watching classic films, and engaging with her book club. A literature enthusiast, Dr. Devine’s favorite novel is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, which speaks to her appreciation for timeless stories and thoughtful discussion.
