Dr. Holly Heyse
Glastonbury, CT
Dr. Holly Heyse was born and raised in central Connecticut. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Sciences. During her school breaks, she worked at Harvey & Lewis in Glastonbury, gaining experience and a love for optometry.
Upon her graduation from UConn, Dr. Heyse moved to New York City to attend optometry school at SUNY College of Optometry. She was involved in organized optometry and served as the President of the Connecticut Student Association of Optometrists. Dr. Heyse graduated at the top of her class and received the Johnson and Johnson Excellence Award in Clinical Contact Lens Patient Care.
After graduating from SUNY Optometry, Dr. Heyse moved back to central Connecticut to join the Apex Optometric team and work at Harvey and Lewis once again. Dr. Heyse practices full-scope optometry including medically necessary contact lenses and medical eye care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Heyse enjoys spending time with her husband and yellow lab puppy, Louie. Dr. Heyse also enjoys cooking and cheering on the UConn Huskies.
